Keep a Journal

It may be the last day of January, but it's never too late to start a journal. You may say you're not the writing type. It doesn't have to be one with daily or weekly entries on what you did or what you felt. You can start by just jotting down what your child did or say that pinched your heart, brought a tear to your eye or just made you wonder where that came from, while you scratch your head. Just take hold of a small notebook or like me, assign pages on my planner, dedicated only to their wise quips, quotable quotes, little triumphs and daring feats. It's nice to read over these notes at the year-end, or even years after, and marvel at the gifts God blessed you with. Happy journaling!
